One Day At A Time

One day at a time, this art Lydia really sums up the start of No.8 Counsellors, I didn’t want to rush the process of setting up an organisation of counsellors. I’m a big dreamer, but getting the detail right takes me a lot of time. Down to the details of the logo which was also designed by Lydia, we started off a bit clueless, so originally started with a woman in a orange circle but thought that might cloud our vision of the fact we are a unisex organisation. We then made the person look more unisex which looking closer to, it looked more like the Slenderman which doesn’t give a therapeutic feel to it. Looking for inspiration I looked to Lydia’s other art work, I found this ‘one day at a time’ which really spoke out to me, to not be in a rush to reach the goal before I was ready. I’m still searching for the right counsellors for No.8 Counsellor who have the same core value’s and to be able to make it a safe place people want to be in.
